Turbine @ 29 Ryerson is an adaptive reuse of an eight-story 1951 manufacturing facility. The reimagined property underwent a two-story vertical addition consisting of a windowed extension running 440-feet-long atop the original structure. The addition resulted in a 12-story building, including service levels, and boasts 280,000 SF of Class A office space with column-free floor plates and floor-to-ceiling glass walls. In addition, a three-story glass atrium grafted to the original building and a three-story office and retail corner building all unite to complete the property. There are 12,400 SF of private terrace space, a 5,996 SF public rooftop, retail on three stories and two stories of indoor heated parking onsite.
