Mr. Tigli has over 20 years of research and consulting experience on the structural vibrations of various building systems including laboratory, semi-conductor manufacturing, healthcare, mixed-use, higher education, retail, residential, office, entertainment venues, and pedestrian bridges. Omer’s Vibration Consulting services deliver his unique three-in-one perspective: as a researcher, a vibration consultant, and a structural engineer which leads to creative, employable, and cost-effective solutions. His structural engineering background facilitates collaborations with the structural engineer and other design team members and assures the successful implementation of the recommendations.

The Hale Family Building at Boston Children’s Hospital is an 11-story cutting-edge facility and the largest project in the hospital’s history. Four stories reside below-grade in the 595,000 SF building that now boasts a state-of-the-art NICU, a five-story Heart Center, 150 single-patient rooms, and 16 ORs with flexible layouts. The design incorporates gardens residing on the rooftop, ground level, and throughout interior spaces to create 28,000 SF of greenspace for patients, family, and staff to heal and respite.
Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is a 1,055-key hotel located on a 2.1 acre site across from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The 788,500 SF structure consists of two 21-story towers, connected by a three-story ground-floor podium. There is a total of 120,000 SF of meeting and event space, featuring a 25,000 SF grand ballroom, the largest in the city. Furthermore, this complex includes 47,000 SF of retail and restaurant space, a 13,000 SF spa and fitness center and a fourth floor pool. Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is the fourth largest hotel in the State of Massachusetts.
The Fazzalari Sky Bridge is a 250-foot-long glass enclosed pedestrian bridge at Boston Children’s Hospital. The addition of this connector allows patients and families to cross the highly congested intersection at Longwood Avenue and Blackfan Street safely and protected from inclement weather. The bridge connects a new lobby on the fourth level of the Patient and Family Parking Garage directly to the first floor of the Hospital’s Main Building. The existing garage underwent improvements as well as an additional roof level, bringing the floor count to nine and adding 70 spaces.
11 Fan Pier Boulevard and 50 Northern Avenue at Fan Pier are home to Vertex Pharmaceuticals headquarters. The 1,100,000 SF office and laboratory campus occupies two 18-story interconnected buildings. The ground floor includes 60,000 SF of associated retail and restaurant space. Parking resides in a three-story below-grade parking garage that can accommodate 725 vehicles. The garage includes 70-foot sheet piles to provide added protection from seawater.
