Structural Analyst / Senior Structural Analyst – New York Office

The Role:

The position of Structural Analyst / Senior Structural Analyst offers you the ability to grow and apply your knowledge of structural engineering on some of the world’s most complex buildings.

Duties:

This is a diverse role and the duties include:

  • Perform engineering analysis and design tasks for complex structures and structural elements
  • Write and review spreadsheets for common tasks
  • Preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, analytical models, reports and correspondence
    Attend internal and external meetings with clients and design team members

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 10+ years’ experience in Structural Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, PhD’s considered
  • Strong knowledge of building fundamentals and design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC and ACI
  • Experience with structural programs such as SAP2000, RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE and REVIT
  • Possesses strong Excel skills, excluding Visual Basic
  • Strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communications
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills for our fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges
  • Specific experience with wind, seismic, building motion, tall buildings and performance-based-design is desirable

Anticipated Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000
