The Hale Building for Transformative Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is an 11-story translational research and clinical building. The 675,000 SF structure combines clinical space, research space, imaging suites, and campus support spaces all under one roof. The building’s layout was designed to maximize collaboration and further connects to the rest of the hospital via a second-story pedestrian bridge, which is part of the PIKE, a quarter-mile-long pedestrian circulation path. Six stories sit below-grade including a four-story garage that provides parking for 400 vehicles.
