BIM Modeler – BOSTON OFFICE

The Role:

The position of BIM Modeler will offer you the ability to apply your understanding of engineering and design principles to create model production. You will produce detailed drawings of structural components for buildings and structures using REVIT.

Duties:

This is a diverse role and the duties include:

• Preparation of detailed design drawings using REVIT software
• Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems
• Draw and detail plans for foundations, buildings, and structures based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data
• Modification of drawings with necessary changes 

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years experience in REVIT 
• Associate’s degree or certification from a technical school 
• Understanding of building structures and/or building construction are a plus
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization and ability to exercise individual judgment when using technical knowledge
• Ability to work under deadline pressure 
• Excellent communication skills with team members within office and external client communicaton
