BIM Engineer – BOSTON OFFICE

The Role:

The position of BIM Engineer will offer you the ability to apply your understanding of engineering and design principles to enhance productivity and support engineering staff in model production. You will produce detailed drawings of structural components for buildings and structures using REVIT.

Duties:

This is a diverse role and the duties include:

• Preparation of detailed design drawings using REVIT software
• Application of engineering principles to enhance drawing content and assist project lead with engineering tasks
• Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems
• Draw and detail plans for foundations, buildings, and structures based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data
• Modification of drawings with necessary changes
• Serve as primary BIM point-of-contact for assigned projects

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years experience in REVIT 
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering OR Associate’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Engineering Technology
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization and ability to exercise individual judgment when using technical knowledge
• Ability to work under deadline pressure 
• Excellent communication skills with team members within office and external client communicaton
