The Alewife Research Center is a project that transformed an existing three-story office building into a modern, environmentally-conscious research facility with new retail and lab office space. The project required the demolition of the 3rd floor and roof to allow for an additional 160,000 SF of new steel framed construction above the existing second floor. To accomplish the four-story expansion, the existing steel columns were selectively encased with newly reinforced concrete to support new floor layout above. In doing so, nearly all the original foundations were removed and reconstructed. The ARC is located directly across the street from the MBTA Alewife Redline station and bus terminal, a convenient public transit oriented building.
The Brickell World Plaza, also known as 600 Brickell, is a 40-story office skyscraper in Miami, Florida. The 520-foot tower contains 600,000 SF of leasable space with flexible floor plates, allowing for open office components. An 11-story parking garage with 927 spaces and a 30,000 SF ground-floor public plaza with outdoor areas complete the remaining lower levels of the structure. This building was also the first LEED Platinum building in Florida.
10 + 20 CityPoint is a two-building, Class A office development totaling approximately 445,000 SF. The first building, 10 CityPoint, was completed in Summer 2016 and features approximately 241,460 SF of office space. The second building, 20 CityPoint, is also a six-story complex that contains approximately 200,000 SF of office space and retail on the first floor. Two long span pedestrian bridges provide interconnectivity between the office buildings and also provide access to the new eight-level precast concrete parking garage. Tenants include Wolverine Worldwide Headquarters, the new headquarters for Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, INFINIDAT, and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse.
Gillette Stadium initially opened in 2002 in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Home to the New England Patriots, our work has, and continues to, help enhance the stadium itself, surrounding areas, and the fans’ as well as the team’s overall experience. Completed in 2007, Patriot Place brought a 1,400,000 SF open-air shopping and entertainment center to the Stadium’s surrounding land. Other projects include the Football Operations Executive Office expansion, the DraftKings Fantasy Sports Zone, the Optum Field Lounge, amenity and enclosure enhancements at the 300 Level Concourse, South End Zone Scoreboard Replacement/Expansion, Super Bowl Banner reconfiguration, extending to structural stadium repairs and upgrades.
Our most recent project includes the North End Zone Improvements featuring a new 220’ tall light house with observation deck, entry plaza including the campions walk and the a new high definition curved video board measuring 370’ x 60’. All of our projects worked around and coordinated with the Patriots football schedule, Revolution soccer schedule and summer concert series events.
