155-165 West 29th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan is the largest purpose-built new self-storage structure in the country. The 180,000 SF Class A facility consists of 6,300 self-storage units spread across 17 stories above-grade and three stories below-grade. In addition, the building features a series of setbacks as the building ascends and is topped with a green roof. Detailed 3D BIM coordination across all disciplines allowed for extremely dense and efficient use of space both vertically and across each plan level.
